CAM Vendor Terms & Conditions
Version 1.0 — Effective 2026-08-07
1. Independent contractor status
CAM Vendors are independent businesses, not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Jeweltix. Vendors have no authority to bind or represent Jeweltix. Vendors are solely responsible for their own business registration, licences, GST compliance, taxes, insurance, labour, equipment, and workplace safety.
2. Scope of Jeweltix's role
Jeweltix's role is limited to listing the Vendor's shop, matching Buyers by location and machine capability, transmitting the .stl file, facilitating payment, and providing dispute infrastructure. Jeweltix does not supervise, control, inspect, or guarantee the Vendor's work.
3. File restrictions — strictly enforced
The Vendor receives only the .stl file for each job. The Vendor must not copy, retain beyond the stated job retention window, reproduce, reuse for any other customer, resell, share, publish, or reverse-engineer any file received. Files are licensed for single-job fulfilment only. Breach constitutes intellectual property infringement against the original designer and grounds for immediate termination and legal action.
4. Vendor indemnity
The Vendor indemnifies and holds harmless Jeweltix against all claims, losses, damages, and costs arising from: defective, delayed, or non-delivered printing; personal injury or property damage arising from the Vendor's operations; misuse or unauthorised retention of design files; breach of any designer's intellectual property; or any dispute between the Vendor and a Buyer. This survives termination.
5. Pricing
The Vendor sets their own rate per gram and their own actual job price. Jeweltix does not set, control, or guarantee pricing. Quoted prices become binding once accepted and paid by the Buyer.
6. Commission and settlement
Jeweltix retains a 10% platform margin (subject to change with reasonable notice) on each print job. Vendor payout = Buyer Payment − Platform Margin − actual payment gateway charges.
7. Payment hold
Vendor earnings are held for 48 hours following payment. If a dispute is raised, that job's payout is frozen until resolved, potentially beyond 48 hours. The Vendor expressly accepts this as a condition of participation.
8. Listing fees
Listing is currently free of charge. Jeweltix reserves the right to introduce a subscription or listing fee in future upon reasonable prior notice. Continued use after such notice constitutes acceptance.
9. Verification and accuracy
Vendors must provide a verified mobile number and accurate shop, address, and machinery details. Misrepresenting machinery, capability, or capacity is grounds for immediate removal.
10. Buyer data handling
Vendors receive Buyer name, mobile number, email, and delivery address solely to fulfil the specific job. Vendors must not use this data for marketing, retain it longer than necessary, share it with third parties, or use it to solicit business outside the platform. Vendors must comply with applicable Indian data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
11. Anti-circumvention
Vendors must not solicit or accept off-platform work from Buyers first introduced through Jeweltix. Breach entitles Jeweltix to terminate the account and withhold pending payouts.
12. Delivery and logistics
Where delivery is selected, the Vendor is solely responsible for safe packaging, dispatch, and delivery. Jeweltix bears no liability for loss, damage, or delay in transit.
13. Termination
Jeweltix may suspend or remove any Vendor for repeated disputes, poor quality, non-responsiveness, misrepresentation, or file misuse, at its sole discretion.
